Nevada Passes Law Allowing Firearms in State Parks

The legislative commission in Nevada has repealed a law that prohibited carrying firearms in State parks. The law still prohibits discharge of a firearm in state parks with obvious exceptions. Nevada state law still protects the rights of self defense of course.

2009 Law Changes… Upcoming in 2010

In April of this year the Utah State Legislature passed 2 significant state gun laws. Neither directly effect law as it pertains to Concealed Carry holders but do directly effect all Utah Gun Owners.

Changes to Utah Concealed Carry Reciprocity

The last few months have brought two changes to the Utah Concealed Carry Permit Reciprocity. For some time now Utah’s CCW Permit has been coveted for it’s large number of honoring states. According to the Utah BCI 58% of the applications for Utah Concealed Carry permits are from out of state residents.
